Looking for an active and memorable group activity in Penticton or the South Okanagan?

Local volunteer-organized airsoft games can accommodate birthday groups, bachelor parties, workplace outings, sports teams, families and groups of friends. New and experienced players are welcome, but all participants must follow the event rules, attend the field safety briefing and wear the required protective equipment.

Rental equipment is available separately from Ox Airtech for groups of up to 16 players.

How Group Events Work

Planning a group airsoft outing requires two separate confirmations:

Confirm the Game with Penticton Airsoft

Contact the volunteer game organizers through Facebook or Discord to:

  • Confirm that a game is scheduled
  • Confirm that your group can attend
  • Review age and adult-supervision requirements
  • Receive the location and arrival information
  • Review field rules and equipment limits
  • Confirm the $5 per-player field contribution

The volunteer game organizers control game scheduling, participant admission, field rules, safety briefings, marshaling and gameplay.

Reserve Equipment from Ox Airtech

Players who do not own suitable equipment must reserve it separately through Ox Airtech.

Ox Airtech supplies and maintains the rental equipment, collects the equipment-rental payment and provides each renter with an equipment-use orientation.

Confirming a game with Penticton Airsoft does not reserve rental equipment. Reserving equipment from Ox Airtech does not confirm that a game is taking place or that your group has been accepted by the game organizer.

Expected Cost per Rental Player

The equipment rental and field contribution are separate payments.

Airsoft Rentals

The following information is provided for planning purposes. Equipment packages are supplied, reserved and paid for separately through Ox Airtech.

Basic Equipment Rental — $50 expected total

  • $45 equipment rental paid to Ox Airtech
  • $5 field contribution collected separately at the field

The Basic equipment package includes:

  • Basic electric airsoft rifle
  • Charged battery
  • Two loaded 380-round high-capacity magazines
  • Protective goggles
  • Lower-face mask
  • Tactical vest

Pro Equipment Rental — $60 expected total

  • $55 equipment rental paid to Ox Airtech
  • $5 field contribution collected separately at the field

The Pro equipment package includes:

  • Upgraded electric airsoft rifle
  • Red-dot sight
  • Charged battery
  • Four loaded 120-round mid-capacity magazines
  • Protective goggles
  • Lower-face mask
  • Tactical vest

Night Game Pro Rental — $70 expected total

  • $65 equipment rental paid to Ox Airtech
  • $5 field contribution collected separately at the field

The Night Game Pro package includes:

  • Upgraded electric airsoft rifle
  • Red-dot sight
  • Tracer unit
  • Weapon-mounted flashlight
  • Charged battery
  • Four loaded mid-capacity magazines
  • Tracer BBs
  • Protective goggles
  • Lower-face mask
  • Tactical vest

A maximum of four Night Game Pro rentals are available per event.

Groups and Special Events

Airsoft Birthday Parties

Airsoft offers an active outdoor experience built around communication, teamwork and friendly competition.

Before organizing a youth birthday group, confirm the age, supervision and protective-equipment requirements with the game organizer. A parent or legal guardian may be required to complete participation documents for players under 19.

Bachelor Parties

A group airsoft outing offers bachelor parties an alternative to the usual activities and can accommodate a mix of beginners and experienced players.

Advance game confirmation and equipment reservations are strongly recommended for larger groups.

Workplace and Team-Building Groups

Airsoft requires communication, planning, decision-making and cooperation. It can provide an engaging outdoor activity for workplace teams, construction crews, clubs and sports organizations.

Participation remains recreational. Penticton Airsoft does not provide professional corporate training, facilitation or performance assessment.

Friends, Families and Social Groups

You do not need a formal occasion to organize a group. Friends, relatives and teammates can join a confirmed game and reserve the equipment they require.

All players remain subject to the same rules, safety briefing and organizer directions.

Group Size and Rental Availability

Ox Airtech can supply a mixture of Basic, Pro and Night Game Pro equipment for groups of up to 16 rental players.

Not every package combination will be available for every event. Some equipment may be held back as operational spares so that a replacement can be provided if a rental develops a mechanical problem.

Reserve early for larger groups and night games.

Ammunition

Each Ox Airtech package includes the loaded magazines listed in its description. Most new players find the included quantity sufficient.

Additional ammunition is not unlimited. Additional approved BBs may be purchased separately from Ox Airtech.

Only ammunition approved by the equipment owner may be used in rental rifles.

What Players Should Bring

Players should arrive with:

  • Comfortable clothing suitable for the weather
  • Long pants and long sleeves
  • Sturdy, closed-toe footwear
  • Water and required food
  • Gloves, if desired
  • Government-issued identification when required
  • Completed participation documents
  • A responsible adult when required by the event rules

Clothing and footwear may become dirty. Airsoft involves physical exertion and outdoor terrain.

Safety and Participation Requirements

Every participant must:

  • Attend the game organizer’s field safety briefing
  • Follow the field boundaries and gameplay rules
  • Obey directions from authorized game organizers and marshals
  • Wear approved eye protection whenever required
  • Wear required face protection
  • Use equipment that complies with the event’s velocity limits
  • Report injuries, unsafe conduct and unsafe conditions
  • Stop participating if unable to continue safely

Players using Ox Airtech equipment must also complete a separate equipment-use orientation and rental agreement.
